Window tinting prescribed as part of government rules for all new buildings in Pakistan

The government in Pakistan has issued new rule requiring that window tinting be applied to all new buildings wherever there is a perceived energy saving advantage in doing so. Window tinting and other energy conservation measures are all listed in the Building Energy Code of Pakistan (BECP), which has been introduced in an effort to try and divert $4 billion of the nation’s energy consumption into other more productive means.
